What Is The Full Deck Challenge?
The Full Deck Challenge takes you on a journey where you learn and challenge yourself to create artist trading cards using a deck of cards as the base. As you work through the challenge, you will be learning. new techniques and ideas that will take you on the next step in your personal craft journey.
You get to use all of those odds and ends in your stash that you hate to throw away. It is a papercraft recycling project. Most of all, it is fun!
This card has some sewing to it. I have to admit that sewing is not my strong point. So, I changed it around a little. I wanted to keep it simple and clean with faux stitching. To create that loo, I used a very fine black script marker.
Remember, as you go through this process, it is all about art as you feel it. You may run into a bunch of all kinds of ATC-styled cards. Try not to judge yourself against others. The process is all about your growth within the form. So, feel free to change things. Go where your mood takes you and have fun!
If you do not want to sew this challenge, you could just apply the washi tape with some tacky glue and add faux stitching with a fine tipped marker.
