Making Dots With Tonic Studio Products
You only need a craft sheet and the product to make your own dots. You simply make a dome on the craft sheet. You can also use a craft sheet or waxed paper. If you see any bubbles just prick them with a small pin. After they are dry, rub a static tool along the back so that they do not stick in storage,
Tonic Drop Tips
- Store your Tonic Drops T upside down so that there is no air in the nozzle.
- If the nozzle gets clogged, just use a pin in the nozzle.
- Before you use the drops, drop a little on a surface away from your project so that you are sure to get an even drop.
- You need to allow the drops overnight to prevent cracking and flattening. Do not use a heat gun on the drops, because the gun will cause the drops to overheat.
- If you are adding detail to things like animals or flowers, place the cutout on a sticky note with the sticky side up.
- If you need to add detail to something like eyes, just barely touch the paper with the nozzle
- If you are adding detail to something like a beak, add a small dot and spread it with a pin
- Keep the nozzle off your surface when you are using the product. Just place it close to the paper, squeeze and lift
- Do not make the dot any bigger than 1/2 inch. You are more likely to get cracking on the larger dots.
