Making your own glue dots will save you a lot of money |
So who does not like to save money where they can. I know that I do for sure. So today, I am sharing a recipe for DIY glue dots that I hope you will give a try.
Not too many supplies are needed for this project. More than likely, you have most of these supplies in your home or craft space.
Supplies
- Parchment or waxed paper or an acrylic sheet
- Tack it over and over glue (made by Aleene's) or SCRA Perfect Best Glue Ever
- Protective plastic or acrylic container-You can also use an envelope.
- Cut a piece of parchment or waxed paper to the size you need to fit in your container.
- Drop small beads of glue on your waxed or parchment paper. Make sure you leave enough distance so that your beads have room between them. The glue will spread.
- Once you have your sheet full, place it into a protective container/
- Let it dry for 24 hours, open to the air.
- Place a second piece of parchment or waxed paper over your glue dots once they have dried.
More Tips
- The dots will dry clear.
- Make sure if you store them in an envelope that you are extra careful not to squish them.
- The nice thing is that you can make these in any size that you would like
- You can also save the long paper from your dots to make these on
