Water Coloring With Distress INks

Distress inks are so versatile, that it is no wonder that they are one of the most popular inks on the market. One of the enjoyable tecniques is to use the re-inkers to water color ! Using water color paper, you can use water to color a permanently stamped image. 
You need just a few supplies, to create beautiful images.

Supplies

  1. Watercolor paper
  2. Stazon ink or any other permanent ink
  3. Stamps 
  4. Acrylic plates or Misti tool to stamp with
  5. Watercolor pen or very fine tipped paint brushes
  6. Distress re-inkers in the color of your choice

What It Takes To Create An Advanced Ink Layering Technique

Today we are sharing with you some advanced ideas and techniques in ink layering. We are also sharing some additional ideas to help you take your greeting cards to the next level. Make Gilding Wax-DIY

  Gilding waxes are used to add a little bling to surfaces to give a lovely metallic look to whatever you apply it too. You can apply it to a number of surfaces including: Cardboard Leather Paper Plastic Wood Glass  Ceramics Metal There are a couple of different products that can create the gilded look to your crafts. Both gilding wax and gilding paste do the same thein in the end.  Gilding paste takes about one hour to dry. Gilding wax takes about 4 hours to dry. But in my opinion, the gilding wax gives a richer look. So today we are showing you a way to create your own gilding paste. The best way to apply your wax is with your fingers rubbing the wax into the surface of your project. I suggest that you use plastic gloves to protect your hands and manicure. You need just a tiny dab of the paste to apply to the surface of whatever you are gilding. Less is more. If you do get too much on the surface, Just buff some clear wax on it to get some of the product evenly spread....
