Ten Mod Podge Tips

  If you are a paper crafter like me, then you are a fan of Mod Podge! There are so many uses for this wonderful adhesive. No matter if you are a beginner or advanced user of Mod Podge, here are our 10 Mod Podge tips to get better results using this product every time. Always apply Mod Podge to both the surface of the project as well as the surface of the materials you are adhering to . That way you will be assured to get the best adhesion with no lifting. Make sure to clean and or sand the surface before you start the project . The Mod Podge will adhere better. Always smooth out any bubbles with a brayer or a squeegee right away. While the Mod Podge is wet, go over the adhered pieces with the brayer. Work from the center outward. When you are covering the outside of a project, apply the first layer of Mod Podge with side-to-side strokes. Allow drying for 20 minutes. Then apply a second coat with up and down strokes.
